Our mission started as an adventure and challenge for riders and veterans to feel a sense of accomplishment and spirit de corps as they traveled the country and raised awareness and charitable donations for impactful causes and organizations.
In 2022, we are building on this mission and extending our community outreach by developing a Veterans and First Responders Business Development initiative. Our goal is to be more impactful in veteran businesses and nonprofit organizations so they can have an opportunity to develop ideas into businesses and businesses into success for veterans and the community alike.
As part of the Veterans and First Responders Business Development initiative, RFYF will select nonprofit organizations and businesses to support with funding resources through our RFYF Veterans and First Responders Venture Pitch Competition. In addition to supporting these organizations with financial resources, RFYF will also act as an advisor and steward of their collective knowledge and skills as successful entrepreneurs, business owners, academics, investors, and top-level executives as a resource for your organization to develop into a successful business.
Ride For Your Flag, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit was founded by a group of combat veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Each of the founders has their own charity or supports another, ranging from treating Veteran PTSD, those suffering from disabilities, and backing for Law Enforcement. Collectively, they bring their individual experience serving others focused on improving mental and physical health.
